Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, has called for cooperation with Chinese companies on AI safety, which he describes as “potentially dangerous”. The American executive advocated for stronger scientific dialogue between Chinese and Western researchers, while challenging calls for more regulation. Nvidia announced on October 14 a computing power donation worth 250 million dollars over five years, dedicated to British research on AI systems security. The United States and China have already engaged in diplomatic discussions on the risks and malicious uses of this technology.
