OpenSea has launched a dedicated space for tokenized collectible cards, bringing together Pokemon, One Piece, and sports cards on a single interface. The platform is centralizing cards from different blockchains and marketplaces in one place. The NFT market had surpassed 16 billion dollars in 2022, but OpenSea’s monthly volumes remain far below their January 2022 record. The platform added Solana NFT trading in late August and faces competition from Jupiter, which has offered Pokemon cards on Solana since July 2025. Adam Hollander, chief marketing officer at OpenSea, aims to create a unified platform for all assets and wallets, with fiat payments and prices displayed in dollars.
