Nvidia introduced DSX Pod AI Factory, an installation combining seven Vera Rubin racks in a standard shipping container weighing approximately 28,000 kilograms. The system can be transported by truck on ordinary roads, with its cabling and liquid cooling preassembled at the factory. According to Nvidia, it reduces the time needed to bring a new AI data center into service from six months to 14 days. Nvidia did not disclose a price, although a single Vera Rubin rack could cost more than $7 million. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2027, with Foxconn, Gigabyte, Lenovo, HPE, Quanta and Pegatron serving as manufacturing partners.
