Metric, a DEX aggregator that routed over $5 billion in trades across nine chains, is launching its own decentralized exchange powered by Chainlink Data Streams. The new platform will use external, verifiable reference prices to trade tokenized stocks, ETFs, commodities, and real-world assets, instead of relying on the internal state of liquidity pools. The approach aims to solve the problem of thin on-chain liquidity that creates wide spreads and stale prices for tokenized traditional assets. In the quarter leading up to July 2026, the platform processed over $5 billion in trade volume, with roughly $2 billion in the final month alone. Chainlink Data Streams enable 24/7 trading for assets that traditionally only move during market hours.
