Meta has launched its personal AI assistant Muse in partnership with Plaid, enabling US users to access over 12,000 financial institutions. The agent has read-only access to account balances, transaction histories, and investment holdings. Three pricing tiers are available: a free option, a 20 dollar per month plan, and a 100 dollar per month premium tier. Muse is accessible via iOS, Android, web, and WhatsApp, exclusively for US residents aged 18 and older. Meta emphasized that data is hosted in a dedicated secure virtual machine and that users retain full control over account connections and authorized actions.
