Meta is preparing an AI agent called Hatch that can browse the web and complete tasks on behalf of users. The premium tier, branded as Hatch Plus, would be priced at $199.99 per month, putting it in the same range as high-end AI subscriptions from OpenAI and Anthropic. The agent is being trained in simulated environments mimicking popular services such as DoorDash, Etsy, Reddit, and Outlook. Internal testing is targeted for June 2026, with a potential public rollout as early as July.
