Bitquery traced a $14.35 million USDT drain from 79AU’s pool on PancakeSwap on October 7 despite 79% of liquidity provider receipts being burned. A permission embedded in the 79AU token allowed tokens to exit the pool and be sold back for USDT, bypassing the LP receipt redemption mechanism. Two addresses retained withdrawal rights on October 8: the deployer and a newly authorized wallet, representing approximately 95% of the remaining liquidity. The actual exposure remains to be confirmed by a fresh check of that transfer permission.
