Trump Media transferred 4,259 BTC, worth about $343 million, to Crypto.com in two transactions, according to blockchain data tracked by Arkham. The bitcoin came from wallets associated with convertible-note collateral, and the transfer represents 30% of the 14,139 BTC the company previously held. On November 30, holders of those notes can request cash repayment, which could reach $1 billion if all eligible holders exercise the option. No sale has been confirmed, but Trump Media could be forced to sell bitcoin or other digital assets to meet its financial obligations. The transfer comes as Democrats prepare an investigation into the Trump family’s crypto activities, including World Liberty Financial, foreign investment, business profits and potential conflicts of interest involving the administration.
