KuCoin announced on August 20 that its Artificial Intelligence Management System, known as AIMS, has been certified under the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 standard, the first international standard specifically designed for AI management systems. The certification covers AI governance and responsible deployment across the exchange’s operations, including market surveillance, anti-money laundering, and fraud detection. KuCoin, which serves over 45 million users across more than 200 regions and offers access to over 1,500 digital assets, joins an existing compliance portfolio that includes ISO/IEC 27001:2022, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 22301:2019, and ISO/IEC 27701:2019. Crypto.com obtained the same certification in February 2026, approximately six months earlier, making it the first digital asset platform to receive this recognition.
