Kraken withdrew the intrusive questionnaires sent to its Monero customers after co-CEO Arjun Sethi acknowledged that no regulation required questions about how customers intended to use the cryptocurrency after withdrawal. The exchange nevertheless retains source-of-funds checks, which may include requests for bank statements, investment records, and other supporting documents.
