The project, made with Wonder Studios X and director Dev Walker, quickly gathered millions of views but was criticized for its all-white cast and the visual glitches typical of AI-generated footage. Musk had promised a historically faithful adaptation of Homer’s epic before the end of 2026, months after attacking Christopher Nolan’s film over its casting choices. Made across six countries with thousands of people, Nolan’s film earned 1.78 billion dollars at the box office after an estimated 264 million dollar opening weekend.
