Dutch striker Joshua Zirkzee is leaving Manchester United for Everton after eighteen months marked by limited playing time. Manchester United paid £36.5 million to sign him from Bologna in July 2024, where he had won the Serie A Best Under-23 Player award. With nine goals in 75 appearances across all competitions, Zirkzee made only five Premier League starts this season. Everton, who had been tracking him since a trial in 2017, ultimately convinced the 25-year-old forward despite interest from Fiorentina and Juventus.
