Jensen Huang says CoreWeave is getting financially stronger

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang defended CoreWeave at an event in Stockholm on October 15, 2026, saying the company’s cost of capital is falling and it is getting financially stronger. The intervention came as CoreWeave shares dropped 15% in a single session in October 2026, with rising credit default swap costs reflecting increased market anxiety about the company’s debt. In Q2 2026, CoreWeave spent $6.42 billion on equipment and property for only $679 million in operating cash flow, while its total debt stood at approximately $52 billion. Nvidia has invested over $2 billion in CoreWeave, including a share purchase at $87.20 in January 2026 raising its stake to about 10%, and committed to buying $6.3 billion of unsold computing capacity through 2032.
