More than 50 former federal prosecutors and law enforcement officials have asked a federal judge in New York to block Trump Media & Technology Group’s $100,000 monthly service providing early access to Truth Social posts. They argue in an amicus brief that the arrangement could violate several federal criminal statutes, including insider trading laws and the Securities Exchange Act. Nearly a dozen financial firms have already subscribed to the service aimed at traders. The city of San Francisco also sued TMTG, accusing the company of violating California unfair competition law and federal insider trading rules.
