Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at its Texas Gigafactory from around the middle of next year, Elon Musk announced on X early Friday. The factory just outside Austin is currently the only one known to manufacture components for the distinctive pickup truck. It remains unclear whether the decision means Tesla is entirely phasing out the model or merely shifting or reorganizing production.
