Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the NYSE, announced a partnership with TradeXYZ to operate perpetual markets in the United States using Hyperliquid technology. ICE will invest in dedicated trading and clearing infrastructure for contracts linked to cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices, commodities and currencies. Hyperliquid will provide the technology through its HIP-3 standard, while TradeXYZ will design the markets and ICE will operate them within a regulated framework. The project still requires approval from US regulators, after which retail investors could access the products through existing brokers and platforms. Following the announcement, HYPE rose 15% to around $91, remaining below its $97.96 record.
