Goldman says these top tech stocks have plenty of upside ahead of earnings

Goldman Sachs recommends Microsoft, Alphabet, Zeta Global, Palantir and CoreWeave ahead of their upcoming quarterly earnings. For Microsoft, the bank is betting on the breadth of its artificial intelligence platform, Azure unit economics and capital expenditure flexibility amid robust consumer demand, although the shares have risen 8% this year compared with 11% for the S&P 500. Zeta Global, up 67% this year, could benefit from companies modernising legacy marketing platforms and consolidating software spending, while Alphabet, up only 2%, could see its artificial intelligence strategy improve investor sentiment. Goldman also views U.S. government agreements as a growth driver for Palantir as the Department of Defence modernises, and considers CoreWeave’s recent correction a buying opportunity despite uncertainty about the future balance of supply and demand.
