Galaxy reports $85M net loss amid Q2 crypto market slump

Galaxy Digital reported an $85 million net loss in the second quarter of 2026, with revenue of $8.7 billion, down 15% from the prior quarter, missing analysts’ consensus estimates of $12.7 billion. The stock declined 6.2% to $20.70 in premarket trading. Total crypto market capitalization fell nearly 15% during the quarter, dropping from $2.35 trillion to $2 trillion. Despite the downturn, the company generated $66 million in adjusted gross profit from digital assets, a 34% quarter-over-quarter increase, and expects $1 billion in annual revenue from its partnership with CoreWeave.
