Todd Weaver, hired at 12 years old for $4 an hour by the founder of Clayco, now leads a construction group expecting nearly $1 billion in revenue in 2026, up from approximately $400 million in 2025, driven by data center construction for Google, Microsoft and Apple. Amazon, Microsoft, Alphabet and Meta plan over $700 billion in combined investments in 2026, versus approximately $410 billion in 2025. Bitcoin miners, who already have electrical connections, are selling their megawatts to AI giants: IREN with Microsoft for $9.7 billion, Cipher Mining with Amazon Web Services for $5.5 billion, Riot Platforms with Anthropic for $9.1 billion over twenty years.
