French lawmakers have approved a proposal requiring self-custodied crypto asset holders to report holdings equal to or exceeding 100,000 euros ($112,000), with fines of up to 10,000 euros for non-compliance. The measure still needs to pass several legislative steps before becoming part of the 2027 budget bill.
