Katie Stockton, founder of Fairlead Strategies, believes Bitcoin has more room to run than gold at the moment. BTC cleared its 200-day moving average, confirming a breakout after a basing phase that began in June. Gold, whose intermediate-term downtrend started later, is experiencing a countertrend rally rather than a full trend reversal. BTC traded around $78,400 and gold around $4,636 per ounce. According to Stockton, the longer duration of Bitcoin’s decline gives it more room to rally before hitting resistance.
