Nasdaq 100 futures fell nearly 1.5% as the odds of a Democratic sweep reached 95%. Such a sweep is the first of the three conditions in Evercore ISI’s worst-case midterm scenario. If all three conditions occur, the S&P 500 could end the year at 6,800. That would erase nearly all of the index’s gains in 2026.
