International law firm Greenberg Traurig disclosed that an unauthorized actor accessed a limited number of documents and posted them on the dark web. BakerHostetler handled nearly 60 cybersecurity incidents involving law firms in 2025, almost double its 2024 caseload. Other firms including Taft Stettinius & Hollister, Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and WilmerHale also reported data breaches. In the crypto sector, Coinbase revealed that criminals stole personal data from 69,461 users by bribing overseas support agents, while SafePal reported a flaw affecting approximately 39,798 customers.
