ChangXin Memory Technologies, China’s largest DRAM manufacturer, has launched 24-Gbit LPDDR5X memory products built on a new platform. These modules offer speeds reaching 10,667 Mbps with capacities of 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB, delivering a 66% bandwidth increase and roughly 30% reduction in power consumption. By mid-2026, these products had entered commercial supply chains in devices such as the Nubia NaviX Ultra smartphone. In September 2026, CXMT initiated mass production of LPDDR6 memory, with Xiaomi’s Xiaomi 18 Fold among the early devices to adopt the next-generation standard. The company targets production capacity of approximately 300,000 wafers per month by end of 2026, with plans for a potential IPO.
