Blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis has linked the $387 million hack suffered by exchange platform Bitget to North Korean actors. According to Chainalysis, this theft pushes North Korea-linked crypto thefts above $1 billion in 2026. Onchain records show that the stolen XRP was swapped through THORChain protocol. This attack is part of a series of hacks attributed to the Pyongyang regime to fund its activities.
