The Cardano Foundation and Brazilian technology firm Blockforce have announced that ADA now serves as the public verification layer in Blockforce’s enterprise supply-chain traceability platform. The system is already operational with Brazil’s largest fashion groups and has anchored more than 500,000 supply-chain records. The model uses a permissioned ledger to store detailed data accessible only to involved parties, while only the cryptographic proof is anchored on Cardano. Joint engineering between the two organizations reduced the cost per record by 92%, enabling large-scale production. Azzas 2154 aims to trace 100% of its leather by 2030, and expansion is planned in automotive, agribusiness, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
