BlackRock Just Made Its $5 Billion Ethereum ETF Cheaper to Trade, Is $1,900 About to Break?

BlackRock filed with the SEC to execute a one-for-three reverse share split on its iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA), reducing the bid-ask spread from approximately 7 basis points to 2 basis points without altering investor holdings or total fund assets. ETHA manages over $5 billion in AUM, making it the dominant ETH-based ETF on the US market. Ether is currently trading around $1,871, down over 60% from the 2025 peak of nearly $5,000, and the $1,900 resistance level represents the key technical test to watch, with $2,200 as the next upside target and the June low at $1,550-$1,600 as the floor support.
