The attacker behind the Bitget breach that resulted in $387.5 million in losses has withdrawn $1.23 million from Binance, routing the funds to a wallet under their control. On-chain analysts traced multiple withdrawals totaling 457.9 ETH and $545,000 in USDT from Binance’s hot wallets. Bitget and Binance are collaborating with cybersecurity firms Mandiant and SlowMist alongside law enforcement to trace the stolen funds. Initial loss estimates were revised upward from $351.6 million to $387.5 million as investigators identified additional unauthorized transfers.
