Bitcoin stays flat as global bond bear market rages on, pushing JGB to high

Bitcoin is trading sideways around $78,000, following a minor decline from its morning high near $79,000. Japan is experiencing a major bond market crisis similar to the UK’s Liz Truss scenario, where the national currency falls while government bond yields rise. Japan’s Finance Ministry could borrow dollars through the Fed’s FIMA repo facility to support the yen, creating new dollar liquidity. S&P 500 futures dropped 0.3% to around 7,660, their lowest level since early August, while oil prices rose more than 2%, with WTI crude reaching approximately $88 per barrel.
