Payward, the parent company of Kraken, will launch tokenized London stocks within weeks, covering the city’s 100 largest listed companies. Investors in more than 110 countries qualify, but UK residents do not. These xStocks track the price of an underlying share, but holders get no shareholder rights: no voting rights and no entry on the share register. The total tokenized stock market across all chains is worth approximately $2.5 billion, with xStocks holding about $607 million, behind rival issuer Ondo Finance. The London Stock Exchange plans its own 24/5 venue starting late 2026, with exchange-traded products in the first half of 2027 and equities thereafter.
