Bitcoin held around $86,000 on October 5, after reaching a high of $87,000 on Friday, buoyed by a far weaker-than-expected U.S. jobs report (29,000 versus 90,000 forecast), which cut the odds of a Fed rate hike in October to roughly 22%.
