Bitcoin faces $70,000 risk as investors realize $2 billion in losses and US jobs shock deepens pressure

Bitcoin holders realized more than $2 billion in losses over three days, with daily losses estimated at between $657 million and $703 million. Selling pressure now dominates spot trading on Binance and Coinbase, while rising US Treasury yields and shrinking stablecoin liquidity threaten Bitcoin’s recovery. The US jobs report created 165,000 jobs in October, more than double the 65,000 expected, raising the probability of a 0.25 percentage-point Federal Reserve rate hike in December to about 80 %. Analysts identify $75,000 as the critical threshold and $76,500 as the first near-term support level. A break below those levels could send Bitcoin toward $70,000 without a recovery in spot demand and stablecoin liquidity.
