This statement comes as Solana’s aggressive expansion in China, including the opening of an office in Shanghai and a major advertising campaign, faced obstacles. The event planned for October 16 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Shanghai was postponed, with participants encountering law enforcement authorities. Solana Foundation attributed this to a sudden 400% spike in registrations exceeding the number declared to local authorities. CZ denied that his public comments could have drawn Chinese authorities’ attention to Solana.
