Arm Holdings says Amazon’s commitments for its Graviton server processors grew more than 20-fold year over year. In the third quarter of 2026, Arm posted record quarterly revenue of $1.44 billion, up 27% from a year earlier, driven by higher server royalties and growing hyperscaler share. Arm-based servers’ share among hyperscalers rose from 15% in 2024 to more than 50% in 2025, and the company expects that share to exceed 60% by the end of 2026. AWS says its custom chips saved customers more than $2 billion in the third quarter of 2026, while Graviton delivers 30% to 40% better price-performance for certain artificial intelligence workloads. Amazon also plans to make Trainium available outside AWS by the end of 2027, extending the commercial reach of its custom chips beyond its own cloud.
