Anthropic, the AI lab behind the Claude model family, filed with the SEC to pursue a Nasdaq listing under the ticker symbol ANT. Valued at approximately $965 billion in its latest private financing round, the company could reach a market capitalization of $2 trillion after going public. Market pricing nevertheless suggests that Anthropic may close its first trading day below $1.25 trillion, partly because of historically weak IPO performance and its substantial net losses. Investors will monitor the offering price, demand from major funds, underwriters’ guidance, regulatory developments and any strategic investor moves.
