Agentmuxer, a Y Combinator-backed platform built by Amorphic Labs, launched on August 25 on Base as a unified router for AI agent capabilities. The solution lets AI agents access tools like web search, data scraping, data enrichment, image generation, and sandbox computation through a single balance, with no accounts or subscriptions required. The system is built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and intelligently routes requests to providers such as Exa, Tavily, and Firecrawl, optimizing for quality, cost, success rates, and latency. Amorphic Labs, part of Y Combinator’s Summer 2026 batch, is based in San Francisco and founded by Dylan Kelly and Frank Li, the latter having worked at OpenAI and NVIDIA. Access is currently gated through a waitlist.
