Crypto wallet and frontend interface revenues fell 60% year over year in the first half of 2026, reaching around $0.4 billion, according to 1kx’s Blockchain Revenue Report 2026. The decline reflects softer asset prices and lower trading activity, which reduced fee income from in-app swaps and transactions. On-chain transaction volumes increased in some areas even as fee-based revenues declined, while gambling and gaming revenues rose 8% to $3.3 billion. Total blockchain revenues are projected at $100 billion in 2026, down 28% from $140 billion in 2025, broadly tracking an approximately 30% decline in the average Bitcoin price.
