Jim Cramer says these six fashion stocks are buys beyond the AI trade

Share

Jim Cramer highlighted six fashion and apparel stocks as alternatives to the technology sector, which has been under pressure. The SPDR S&P Retail ETF gained 10% in the third quarter, while the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund fell 11%; Cramer also said falling interest rates could support apparel companies ahead of the holiday shopping season. Ralph Lauren remains his top pick because of consistent growth and international expansion, while Tapestry, which owns Coach and Kate Spade, is due to report earnings on Thursday. Levi Strauss has rebounded after a disappointing earnings report, and VF Corp, which owns The North Face, Vans and Timberland, is showing signs of improvement. Kontoor Brands plans to sell the Lee brand for up to $1 billion to focus on Wrangler and Helly Hansen, while Reformation is Cramer’s more speculative pick after its shares surged more than 31% in October.
