US-listed BNB ETFs led inflows across spot crypto ETFs in October, attracting $99 million, primarily through the VanEck BNB ETF (VBNB). About $97 million was invested on October 2, representing 98.8% of the monthly total, before the October 29 Binance hack that drained $6.3 billion in tokens. Over the same period, Bitcoin and Ethereum funds recorded net outflows of $515 million and $1.61 billion, respectively, while Solana funds lost $144 million. VBNB assets declined from $98 million on October 29 to $92 million on October 30, although the decrease cannot be attributed automatically to redemptions because it also reflects changes in BNB’s market price. Binance said it had replenished roughly 95% of the affected assets and frozen around $3 billion in stolen tokens before gradually reopening withdrawals.
