Anthropic, the company behind the Claude models, generated approximately $17 billion in revenue in the third quarter of 2026, representing growth of more than 1,100% year over year. Its net loss narrowed sharply, falling from $66.3 billion in the prior quarter to $23.3 billion, mainly because of non-cash accounting adjustments. Operating performance was weaker, with a $567 million operating loss following a $974 million operating profit in the second quarter as computing costs increased. Anthropic plans to list Class A shares on the Nasdaq under the ticker ANT, with a potential valuation of between $1.5 trillion and $2 trillion.
