Mercado Bitcoin, Brazil’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, confirmed that its wallets were involved in a hacking incident. Blockchain security firm Hypernative estimates the losses at $40 million. The exchange temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals. The attack came just days after the record $6 billion Binance hack.
