AI agent disputes head to ‘Internet Court’ — and a jury of AI agents

GenLayer’s “Internet Court” sends each dispute to a random jury of five validators, each running a different artificial intelligence model. An initial decision is reached within minutes by simple majority, after which it can be appealed to juries of 11, 23 agents and eventually up to 1,500 members. The consortium currently has 35 members, including ZKsync, NEAR, Consensys and UMA, while finality is typically reached within 30 minutes. GenLayer is preparing to launch its mainnet and already applies the system to reality mapping, argumentative betting and prediction markets, with the four leading users each earning more than $2 million. Albert Castellana says the system could accelerate dispute resolution on Polymarket, where a $240 million market took nine days of appeals before being reversed, while acknowledging current limitations of artificial intelligence and the risk of model bias.
