Zcash is celebrating its 10th anniversary following its launch in October 2016, with a focus on privacy through shielded transactions that conceal the sender, receiver, and amount. The network has since received 10 major upgrades, including Sapling, Blossom, NU5, and NU6, which improved performance, confirmation speed, and eliminated the need for a trusted setup. ZEC rose from a range of $400 to $550 during the summer to a peak near $1,700 in late September, before falling and rebounding to around $1,308. In the short term, $1,200 is a major support level, followed by $1,050 and $820, while a move above $1,370 could open the way toward $1,500.
