Stellar has expanded its Bell upgrade preparation guide with the software versions required by wallets, exchanges and infrastructure operators before the network votes scheduled for November. JavaScript SDK 17.3.0 supports contract addresses beginning with W and the updated ledger definitions, while indexers must adapt to the ledger header format introduced by Protocol 30. Bell also adds ML-DSA signature verification for smart contracts without replacing Ed25519 signatures for ordinary transactions, along with ledger timestamps expressed in milliseconds. Testnet validators are scheduled to vote on November 3, followed by mainnet validators on November 23 at 17:00 UTC, subject to approval and possible date changes.
