CoinGecko’s API is now available on AirnodeHub, API3’s marketplace that allows AI agents to purchase data without human intervention. Agents can query CoinGecko for prices, market capitalizations and blockchain wallet balances, with each response carrying a cryptographic signature attesting to its origin. Launched in early access on October 5, 2026 with around 36 services, AirnodeHub standardizes their descriptions through OpenAPI specifications and x-airnode metadata while supporting protocols such as MCP. Requests are currently free, and API3 plans to migrate providers to their own Airnodes so they can retain most of the revenue generated by their services.
