Shinhan Card, SBI VC Trade and SBI XDC Network APAC have reached an agreement to test yen stablecoin payments between South Korea and Japan. The trials will cover card payments, wallet-to-wallet transfers and cross-border trade settlement, as well as anti-money-laundering and fraud-detection controls. The operations are intended to make payments easier for travelers and speed up trade between the two countries.
