Google’s Gemini 4 Argon processed nearly 25 trillion tokens during the 72 hours following its general launch, roughly three times Gemini 3’s volume over the same period. The model can handle up to 1 million input and output tokens, compared with Gemini 3’s 64,000-token limit, and targets programming, finance, and long-running, multi-step tasks. Google says it increased coding task submissions by more than 35% while reducing the number of changes that had to be undone. Its introductory API rate is $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, before doubling after November 30, 2026. Google acknowledges that strong demand could exceed its available computing capacity.
