Celestia has activated its Fibre technology, enabling rollups to perform direct uploads to validators. The initial release supports 128 MiB blobs and up to 200 Fibre submissions per block. This configuration uses smaller uploads and a slower block cadence compared to its initial terabit benchmark. This innovation aims to improve the efficiency of communication between rollups and the main blockchain.
