The Prime Trust estate has won a $9 million default judgment against Justin Sun-owned Poloniex. The lawsuit relates to preferential transfers of funds made to Sun-linked entities shortly before Prime Trust’s bankruptcy. Prior to its bankruptcy, Prime Trust decided to end its relationship with entities associated with Justin Sun due to the then ongoing SEC lawsuit against Sun, which has since been dropped. This decision led Prime Trust to transfer over $9 million to Poloniex and Sun. The default judgment targets only Polo Digital Assets LTD, the firm operating Poloniex, and Prime Trust is still pursuing discovery regarding Justin Sun himself.
