Several neocloud providers were denied access to Nvidia’s GTC Berlin 2026 event just days before its opening on October 20 to 22, because they had AMD Instinct GPUs and Google TPUs in their fleets. According to the SemiAnalysis report, Nvidia is applying selective pressure to enforce exclusively Nvidia-based fleets, a strategy that does not target hyperscalers like AWS and Microsoft Azure. By August 2026, many neoclouds were splitting their orders between AMD and Nvidia on a near one-to-one basis, with at least two providers deploying 10,000 GPUs from each vendor. The neocloud sector generated over 25 billion dollars in revenue in 2025 and is projected to reach nearly 400 billion dollars by 2031, while Nvidia’s share of the AI accelerator market is expected to drop to 75 percent in 2026, down from 87 percent in 2024.
